As part of its new NFL Rivals blockchain fantasy football game, which was made by Mythical Games, the NFL will release on August 30 an NFT helmet collection licensed by all 32 teams. There will be 2,500 animated helmets that are one-of-a-kind for each of the 32 NFL teams.

On, each NFT helmet will be sold for 0.14 Ethereum, which is about $216 USD at the moment. On August 30, the first drop will include helmets from the Bengals and the Rams. The collectibles will also be sold on NFT marketplaces like OpenSea and Rarible.

Fans who buy Rarity League NFTs will get rewards like NFL Rivals player NFTs to use in fantasy contests and access to in-game currency and exclusive in-game tournaments. In May, Mythical Games and the NFL and NFLPA announced that they were working together to make NFL Rivals. The NFL has also used NFT for non-transferable commemorative tickets with Ticketmaster, fantasy football with DraftKings NFT Reignmakers, and the NFL All Day marketplace with Dapper Labs.
