Kevin Hart is the most recent famous person to join the NFT train. The famous actor, comedian, and businessman wants his brand to reach fans who are interested in non-fungible tokens. He also wants to make some extra money.

Hart will put down roots in the Web3 metaverse when “Confessions From the Hart,” a 30-minute animated anthology based on his Instagram IGTV show of the same name, debuts on Roku next month.

“Confessions From the Hart” will only be available on the Roku Channel on Hart’s 43rd birthday, July 6. The show reenacts moments from Hart’s life while he talks about them. Also, his media company, Hartbeat, will release a limited number of NFTs that will give fans access to bonus content for “Confessions From the Hart” in the Kevin Hart Nation Metaverse Screening Room, which was made in partnership with Web3 platform Moonwalk and virtual entertainment company Virtua.

On Thursday, July 7, fans and collectors will be able to buy one of 10,000 unique “Confessions From the Hart” NFTs at web3.kevinhartnation.com. The NFTs will show Kevin Hart and his characters from the special. NFTs are a way to prove ownership of a specific piece of digital content. In this case, there will only be one official owner of each Hart NFT that is created.

Each of Hart’s NFTs will cost $65 and can be bought with a credit card or an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency. That could be worth up to $650,00.

People who buy “Confessions From the Hart” NFTs will eventually be able to access the bonus content, and they will also get “exclusive member benefits” for Kevin Hart Nation’s IRL and metaverse experiences, such as extra content and tickets to Hart’s upcoming comedy tour. Hartbeat is also getting a Discord channel, which you can find at this link.

In addition to streaming “Confessions From the Hart,” the Roku Channel will launch a hub for all of Kevin Hart’s free content on the service. This includes “Die Hart,” a Roku original, as well as “Cold as Balls,” “Exit Strategy,” “Straight from the Hart,” and “Real Husbands of Hollywood.” By the fourth quarter of 2021, the Roku Channel will be in the homes of about 80 million people in the United States.

Hartbeat’s move into the NFT/Web3 world comes after the company announced in April that Abry Partners would invest $100 million to help the company grow its team, speed up growth for its existing brands and franchises, and make new intellectual property (IP).
